With a Discovery Flight, you are able to get 30 minutes of ground school where you learn the basics of aerodynamics, aircraft control, and pre-flight of the plane. After this, you and an instructor will go up for 30-40 minutes, and you will learn the fundamentals of aircraft control. You will be controlling the aircraft and getting a feel of what it looks like to be a pilot.
